Shepherding People, Culture, and Calling

How do leaders cultivate communities that are both deeply rooted in truth and resilient enough to flourish across generations?
Join Leaders in the Arena for a conversation with Brian Salter, Lead Pastor of Lookout Mountain Presbyterian Church, a historic and influential church committed to discipleship, community, mission, and Kingdom renewal. Having served in campus ministry, international missions, and pastoral leadership, Brian brings a unique perspective on forming healthy congregations and equipping leaders for long-term faithfulness.
Drawing on decades of ministry experience, Brian will explore what it means to shepherd both people and institutions with wisdom, humility, and conviction. From developing cultures of discipleship and prayer to leading through seasons of growth and change, he has helped shape a ministry philosophy centered on Gospel formation, relational community, and enduring mission.
This conversation invites leaders to consider how faithful leadership extends beyond strategy and organizational success. Together, we'll explore how leaders cultivate cultures where people are formed in Christ, communities remain anchored in mission, and institutions become enduring instruments of Kingdom impact for generations to come.
